DineMate Subscription Terms and Conditions

1. Subscription Plans

DineMate offers subscription plans that provide access to premium features, including:

  • Enhanced Profile Visibility
  • Advanced Matching Options
  • Profile Verification: Verified profiles receive a badge, helping to build trust within the community by ensuring that users are who they claim to be.

Subscriptions are available on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.

2. Billing and Payment

  • Advance Payment: Subscriptions are billed in advance for the entire period (e.g., monthly, quarterly, yearly) at the start of the subscription term. Charges will appear on your selected payment method.
  • Recurring Billing: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (e.g., every month, every quarter) unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

3. Cancellation, Downgrade, and Pause Policy

  • Cancel Anytime: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings in the DineMate app. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, but no further charges will be applied.
  • No Prorated Refunds: DineMate does not offer prorated refunds for subscriptions canceled before the end of the billing cycle. You will retain access to all premium features until the subscription period expires.
  • Downgrading Subscriptions: You may downgrade your subscription to a lower tier (e.g., from yearly to monthly, or from a higher plan to a basic plan) at any time. The downgrade will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds or prorated credits will be issued for downgrades.
  • Pausing Subscriptions: You may pause your subscription for up to 3 months at any time. During the pause, your account will be downgraded to the free plan, and you will not be charged. Your premium subscription will automatically resume at the end of the pause period unless you reactivate earlier or cancel the subscription. You can only pause a subscription once per billing cycle.

4. Changes to Subscription Plans

  • DineMate reserves the right to change the pricing or features of its subscription plans. Any changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply at the next renewal.

5. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

  • Free Trials: From time to time, DineMate may offer free trials or promotional discounts for new users. Free trials must be canceled before the trial period ends to avoid being charged for a full subscription.
  • Promotions: Promotional offers and discounts may have specific terms and conditions, which will be provided at the time of the offer.

6. Refund Policy

  • No Refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the premium features until the end of the current billing period.

7. Account Termination

  • • If your DineMate account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service, you will not be entitled to any refund of subscription fees, and you may lose access to any remaining time on your subscription.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes related to subscription payments or cancellations are subject to DineMate’s dispute resolution policy, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

9. Subscription Management

  • You can manage and modify your subscription settings, including upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations, through the Account Settings in the DineMate app.
